Try shooting a 3-4hr live show with a 70-200 on it........ I found the grip improves the ergonomics a lot when taking portrait shots !
Just cos you dont need something doesn't always make it useless;)
I have heard good things about this companies kit on other forums http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2m-x-4m-2-1-Dual-Sided-White-and-Black-Photo-Background-Vinyl-Stand-/261009909493?pt=UK_Photography_Backdrops&hash=item3cc56726f5
I decided to buy right buy once and bought this http://www.calumetphoto.co.uk/eng/product/calumet_heavy_duty_background_support/mf6095 the reviews put me off the ebuyer kit
Very solid but you could buy a cheaper one and upgrade to a better background if you find the original a problem
another thumbs up for them .... I was very impressed with how fast the delivery was !!
Quicker than items i ordered at the same time from Amazon marketplace lol
I have a 250 gig ssd and a 1tb in my macbook pro with 16 gig ram and it is lightning quick
I do audio studio work as well ...
I tried tethering on each hd and would say it is worth using the ssd
128gig might feel pretty tight for space if shooing raw
