    I think given your comparison of the d200 vs d5200 is not much difference I think I would prefer the d200 just because of build quality.

    As above i am looking to get either or. I am undecided on which of the 2 to get........ i like pro style body of the D200 but i appreciate that the d5000 being a newer body will be more up to date. I have recently done a wedding and have another coming up in November, so to me the low light...

    I use a 40d as my second body and it's a fantastic body!..............I agree with andy red though, why not buy second hand and get a 17-50 2.8 (tamron) for say 250 then you still got £260 for other stuff. : thumbs:

    Sorry guys agree with Gary, if the op shoots sports or action your recommendations of 5D 1 or 2 is useless. As above: What do you shoot or plain to shoot? What lens/lenses do you already have? 2 most important questions.
