Gembobs, love those photos. i think i'll deffinately go with that lens. the only other alternative would be a Canon L & they are alot more expensive.

gembobs, how are you finding the 70-200? I've read reviews & they seem fairly positive. If its an EF then i don't really need to worry about that :) Thank you very much both of you.

I'm not planning to replace my 60d any time soon. I'm just being a cheapskate. I think i'll still get those lenses. As right now i'm still learning & i think it would be insane to upgrade without a need to.

I have my eye on 2 lenses at the moment that i am considering buying, but one thing has me puzzeled. What kind of fittings do they have on them. Will they be EF or EFS? Ideally when buying new glass i want them to be EF incase in the future i replace my body with a body with a full frame...

One thing we can agree on, actually shooting the images in full colour probably was a saving grace, leaving the locations down to the young client bad move on my part. Ideally what was required was a plain white background but as i don't have any kind of transport & lack of funds as i'm just...

so from what your saying the ideas are right, but i may have gone about it the wrong way. The only software i really have at the moment is iPhoto. I tried to use gimp but i don't think its really that intuitive on OSX 10.7. I still have the original images (full colour). Maybe they can be salvaged.

I think there were one or 2 that were "enhanced" by the 60d's creative effects. I've just uploaded these images to Flickr so i'll have a look & point out which ones. Some are just standard black & white though.

Here are some of the pics from my first band shoot. These lads are just starting out & i know the guitarists teacher & he asked me to do some work for them. Now unfortunately i'm not by my computer at the moment so i can't provide the full images but i do have them on my facebook account...

i use it every now & again, i don't think my images are all that fantastic. I also use Camera Zoom FX on my phone, to be honest i'd rather use my camera then my phone for pictures. Maybe i'm being snobby... btw my id is aidan257
