£100 is pretty much my limit as I'm still new to video and learning the basics. I actually have an LCW Fader ND for my other lenses, but it won't fit the Tokina 11-16mm I recently bought and wouldn't be as effective on ultra wide angles from what I've read.

The HDR also looks a bit dark to me, but is actually pretty well done IMO and not overdone at all. Maybe crop out some of the beach below the statue as they don't really add anything and pull attention away from sky and clouds which I find more interesting. Overall great job with the picture...

Agree about rotating the picture 90deg... Also I prefer the second image, I really like the soft pastel colours.

I prefer the colour version, the gold tones give it a more magical quality.

Good shot, the B+W suits the image well and I like the movement conveyed in the clouds and water.

Great set, but I really like number 2. Interesting post processing and the two people give a sense of scale to the image. Brilliant capture :thumbs:

Another question, is there significant improvement on the 40d for higher ISOs? Especially 800 and 1600, as I know the 450d doesn't have 3200.

Great shot, what processing did you do to make the clouds pop out like that? And did you use a GND filter?
