We'll, slight change of plan. Just bought a Mamiya ZD with less than 3k actuations.
It will take my existing MF lenses and bought a 150 AF to try. Interesting times ahead.

MF tends to slow you down and consider more before snapping IME. Though whether a didital body will to the same extent I'm not sure, hence my question.
Thanks
I struggled to find a electric or hybrid that would tow 3.5 Tonnes. I don't see any reason why they can't build an Electric car which would tow significant weight but I haven't seen it yet....

Hi All
I don't use my EOS kit as much as I should and I'm looking to re-kindle my interest in Photography. I have some film based medium format and always got more buzz out of that than 35mm film.
In my mind - the EOS kit I have is just sitting there and not being used so of little value -...
I'm a Canon not a Nikon guy but I have swapped between zooms and fixed and always end up with the fixed due to the image quality and find that I prefer the images (even if I have to crop in PP) from the fixed. Always invest in the best quality glass you can afford....

One of the Facebook Dog Rescue society ran a photo competition recently (and we have 2 rescue dogs from them) and much to my surprise, one of my photos won 'Best in Show'....
We were pleased anyway...

All,
Was taking some test shots to make sure that then 'new' Used 135mm L from Amazon Marketplace was ok. So after some boring wall shots at different apertures, took a couple of quick test DoF shots of our Spaniel.
This one turned out ok I think - and as I'm always looking to learn - just...
We were with Petplan for many years but now we are using John Lewis which so far have been good on the paying out front - which is what matters in the end.

I agree about the crop, TT is all about battling yourself and the facial expressions normally tell the story - so I like to see these cropped enough to see the facial expressions whilst also capturing some of the rest of the scenery etc. Challenging I know and the last one does a very good job.

Personally, I would look at either the 100-400 L or the 70-300 L in preference to the 55 -250. As far as IS goes I use it sometimes and not others, depends on thee circumstances.
