    Haughmond Abbey, Shropshire

I was really pleased with this particular photo from the Shropshire ruins. Brought a nice bottle of Mead from the Heritage hut too, bonus. Unfortunately nearby Lilleshall had local kids climbing all over the walls thus ruining my day :punch: Cheers Alan Haughmond Abbey, Shropshire by Alan...

    Maastricht at Dawn

Thank you Geof I couldn't figure out why it was so blue from the camera. Sequential images were either very, very blue, slightly blue and even a touch warm. I guessed this was due to the different shutter speeds I was trying. I'm certainly finding light room faster and easier to use Thanks Alan

    Eyam - The Plague Village

A few tips are always welcome. I will have a play with the radial filter and local exposure tweaks. That's how we learn. Many thanks, Alan

    It ain't fair

It would seem we all appear to have back issues, including me. Thoughts for the day: Do we take up photography because we have bad backs? Do we have bad backs as a result of lugging all our gear around? Is it because we are contortionists trying to get "that" shot? Maybe photography is bad for...

    Eyam - The Plague Village

The photograph is alive. Its wonderful. I could actually be there. In simple terms, how do you post process this to such wonderful effect? I have Elements 9 but nowhere can I find how to produce such stunning images other than the very basics. Its how you apply it I suppose. Which is where I...
