    The Frozen Bubble image

Thank you so much. They are made by myself just using washing up liquid and 2 spoonfuls of sugar and blowing out of a straw. Seen suggestions of corn syrup to add too but I only had the 2 ingredients. Trying not to let them pop was the tricky part. Once they've frozen it was interesting to see...

    The Frozen Bubble image

So I tried a photography technique I've been wanting to try for a long time. So very early in Saturday 2nd December here in Delabole, North Cornwall, I attempted The frozen bubble image. Despite not feeling my fingers at the end, I'm quite happy with how these turned out for a first attempt...

Photo Mounts for 12x8 and 16x12 prints

I use hoopers framing on amazon. Backing boards, mount frames and clear sleeves very good indeed. I'll find the link. Lee

    Tregardock Beach, North Cornwall last

I took a trip to the beach closest to my village. It's about a 6 mile round trip on foot and a Holly challenge walking back but it's really worth it as not many people go there because of the walk to it, even if you park at the farm near the footpath. Both images were taken with my Canon 600D...

Delabole Slate Quarry time keeping office 13-9-23

This is the Delabole Slate Quarry time keeping office that was used many many years ago and now is bricked up and disused. There used to be to cone part of bomb that landed on a house in Delabole during the war, that was placed on a tripod suspended by a chain that the time office manager used...

Delabole parish village St John's church

Thank you, lots to learn on nightscaping. Yes I did notice a halo around the church, some devices show it and some of the prints I've done. And vice versa, some prints don't show it or devices.

Delabole parish village St John's church

Thank you. It is my first building nightscape attempt. The whole church is lit by a huge floodlight to the left of the image so truing to control it in both the short and long exposure was tricky but it does help add to the overall image with the silhouettes of the gravestones. Lee

Delabole parish village St John's church

I really wanted to Nightscape our village parish church here in Delabole as its such a beautiful building. There's a large floodlight that the warden uses to light up the building which is a real shame so fighting with controlling the image with that blaring. I checked with the warden if it...

    Milky Way

You've nailed it with this one. It's stunning and your light painting is amazing. I've just started out light painting too and doesn't look as good as yours. Great job

    Milky Way First Attempt

It's always the post processing that's the hardest part. You'll improve each time that you take your Widefield images and process. To be fair I don't know how you will improve on your first attempt but as long as you enjoy being our under the stars is the main thing. Lee

    Milky Way Aldeburgh

It's a beautiful foreground piece. The time of year, light pollution and the moon probably didn't help you here. Keep this foreground in mind for more astro images, circling it to find a good nightscape sky.

    Portland Bill lighthouse

Beautiful perspective. I love it. There are plenty of places around my village that would make lovely Nightscapes so can understand trying to avoid any stray lights. Well done in a cracking shot.

    Milky Way First Attempt

For your first attempt you've pretty much nailed it. Well done. You shoukd of seen my first, it was like a chimp had smudged chalks over black paper. You should be proud of your image.
