So I tried a photography technique I've been wanting to try for a long time. So very early in Saturday 2nd December here in Delabole, North Cornwall, I attempted The frozen bubble image. Despite not feeling my fingers at the end, I'm quite happy with how these turned out for a first attempt. Taken at around 6.40am with the amazing colours from the sun rising behind. Which is your favourite one? ❄️
Taken with Canon 600D and Canon 60mm macro lens all iso 200 ranging from 1-3.2 sec exposures f3.5.
Processed in Photoshop and Snapseed.

All of them superb. How do you get the frozen bubble - was it naturally occuring?

The frozen bubbles I tend to see are those where ice forms on the sandmarshes, then the worm holes let air out, which can't escape through the ice and freeze.

Thank you so much. They are made by myself just using washing up liquid and 2 spoonfuls of sugar and blowing out of a straw. Seen suggestions of corn syrup to add too but I only had the 2 ingredients. Trying not to let them pop was the tricky part. Once they've frozen it was interesting to see them disintegrate to half shell jellified remains.
