Don’t bother with the 17-40 f/4 as it’s not sharp until at least f/8. The 16-35 f/4 is way better and is sharp from f/4. Plus it has IS. Not much difference in price but huge difference in image quality
Anyone got any experience with good or bad third-party camera batteries? I need to get some Canon LP-E6 batteries but they are very expensive compared to third party ones. The Ansmann ones look okay, but wondering if anyone has any experience of them?

The plane of focus is already quite a long way from the camera, so the background isn't far enough behind this to be rendered as unrecognisable. If the plane of focus was closer to the camera then the background would be more out of focus.
Hi Chris. As I said, it is 6x17 negatives and transparencies I am looking to have printed, but I think you need a 8x10 enlarger for that. I know where I can get Black and White ones done, but am drawing a blank with colour at the moment.
Darkroom print. I've been doiong scan and c-type printing for a while but I would like to get a darkroom print to compare the results. Just don't know of anywhere where it can be done.
