Hi Kev, I have to say I really like your second shot there. I can't quite put a finger on what exactly draws me in, but I think it is a really nice picture! :)
Thanks Dennis, I am certainly happy with the cost and yes it looks great! I have put in a roll of Ilford HP5 ISO 400 just now and hopefully the results will be positive, but if not it's okay, as i still have much to learn! :)
Bought a Lomo Lubitel 166 Universal today for £15! First time with one of these kind of cameras. I'll be honest, I don't know anything about them, but I absolutely love shooting 35mm so decided to bite the bullet and give it a try :)
Great condition and everything seems to be working fine (to...
Recently turned 20 so finally out the teens! :D have only been shooting for around 6 months, but have learned a lot in that time (self taught). Started with a 550d, but have since been using older cameras more often as I have fast become a massive lover of film! Currently using a Nikon em and...
I don't shoot exclusively film, but I do enjoy it more than digital I have to say :)
I am in my very early days of shooting film (Hell, early days of digital too! Only started in December last year!), but I am learning relatively fast and I am buying new equipment all the time (Next purchase...
Finally serious about buying one of these, bidding on ebay just now for a GR1v and a GR10. I have a decent amount of money to realistically be able to afford both, but im not wanting to be spending more than I should :)
Thanks Chris, my aim would be to use it 90% as a street camera to help me with being a bit more discreet as I go about as my 550D although great, it's a little too noticeable.
I will look into the GRD 1 although I have to say its the GR1v or s models that I have fancied for a while now, it's...
Hi Benny, congrats on your purchase/upgrade! I don't own a Canon 1100D myself (Canon 550D for me), but I can confirm that the nifty fifty Canon 50mm 1.8 is a fantastic buy! Highly recommended and can be bought for around £75. The Canon 55-250mm lens is a nice one as well (I dont have one...
I really only shoot street photography at the moment and so during the day my ISO is never really above 200 (Pushing to 400), but I tend to leave it on Auto ISO (Max of 800) when im out so that I can focus on Shutter Speed and Aperture instead :)
Hey all, been having a look through this thread for a couple of days now, the X10 is really tempting me into a purchase as a backup/street camera to my Canon 550D.
Do you guys think it is worth me looking into? Would you say the price (Roughly £320) is worth it? How common are these problems...
