    Loving my film cameras

One of my Om-3’s is used to digitise the negatives. The other is used with one of my primes when I go out and it’s raining. I shoot digital like film, no chimping. The screen is always facing inwards. The Pentax 17 got me back in to film, I get more pleasure from shooting film. The only...

Great images Suzy. I was going to go there but had to work. Looks like I missed out on a good day.

Show us yer film shots then!

Had a day off so decided to test the cameras I found in my workshop. Surprise, the weather has turned pants! Weeks of nice weather and it's grey and rainy when I go out. So I used my dull f4 instead of sunny 16!!!! These are from the yashica mat, working well. The perkeo roll came out...

The New Lomography MC-A. The new AF point and shoot.

    It’s a better buy than the mc-a.

The New Lomography MC-A. The new AF point and shoot.

When my wife stole the xhalf and she got in to taking photos, I got her a 17. She hated it, so it was a big win for me  I also bought 2 extra brand new that were on sale with a huge discount. I would’ve bought more but they only had 2 left. All of my 17’s under expose slightly always...

The New Lomography MC-A. The new AF point and shoot.

I’ve said it over and over, the reviewers were the wrong base for the 17 and so it got slated. They killed it before it started to sell. I now own 5x Pentax 17(don’t ask). I’ve got one in each bag, film and digital kits. I bought in to it awaiting the 35mm, hopefully with less plastic. Never...

The New Lomography MC-A. The new AF point and shoot.

Mines still going well. Can’t believe that I’ve been lucky with mine considering it was the first run. I’m almost at the end of another roll! Noticed other reviews on the Rollei but it’s a lot to drop on a duff camera. Twice the cost of the mc-a. Wouldn’t risk a used one, probably being sold...

    Folder light seals

Just ordered some 120, going to test them next week. I’d forgotten all about them, my wife remembers everything lol! Being self employed for 40 years, a workshop tends to gather storage. It was 43* in there too when I was digging around, I could barely breathe! I found an old box of mostly...

    Folder light seals

Thanks to my wife, I’ve discovered a stored box of my old film cameras. They’ve been stored dry and in a dehumidified room (my workshop). A few tlr’s (ricohflex, Yashica mat and rollieflex) and a couple of folders and a fed3, fed2 and an exa 1a. They’ve been stored for at least 13-15years and...

    Recommend me a……..

Gave the Zenit B a test run on Sunday morning before it goes to live in my van. Most of the shots were taken at 5.00am so the sun hadn't risen and it was grey. I don't think it performed too badly for a 60 year old camera that probably hasn't been used for a few years. I struggled with focus...

    Recommend me a……..

The Zenit appears to be fine now. I’ve stripped it down and give quick clean and minor lube. I think the jamming issue was dried gunk, I found a couple of bits. It’ll be having fomapan 400, got to use it somewhere lol!
