I got a macro lens for Christmas to double up with learning some macro and to use for portraits. I was surprised how low the light was on this lens (100mm 2.8)

This winter and summer seems to have had the most horrible light. Its been so grey! Finally got an evening with some warmth so headed out for a walk. C&C welcome

I actually have more space at the top but felt then his head was too central and yes I have a colour version I much prefer the B&W not to mention the blown area at the top outside of the trees

The only thing I would remove is blemishes like spots and temp impurities other than that leave as is. I got a portrait of myself taken before and my scar was removed in it. I was actually a little hurt/annoyed that it was removed, its something I hate and am conscious of but its not something...

Yes about 5 miles off motorway on way to Dublin about 1/2 way. Thanks for info on sharpening will try this for next post.
