    South-West England Wildlife Photography Hides

I am looking for recommendations for wildlife photography hides for hire. The kids have come up with the idea of clubbing together for a father's day and birthday present of a days hide photography. It has to be better than socks pants and chocolate etc so I am onto a winner. Most subjects...

    PIR Trigger for camera trap

Hi Does anyone know of a cheap PIR trigger to use with a camera trap. I have a looked at the camtraption ones but they are a little to expensive for what I want, due to the fact I will be leaving it in a public woodland so there is always a chance someone will lift it. I want it to trigger a old...

    Lensmaster rh-2 gimbal head advice/recommendations.

Thanks Stewart I have just got one a few days ago. I have not had time or the weather to try it on a days photography yet, but it looks well made and balances nice with a Nikon 600mm f4 and a d850 . Lensmaster rh-2 gimbal head advice/recommendations.

Cheers I just wanted to know if any one used one with a heavy 5kg 600mm , The Sigma reply answers that :-) I have a gimbal that is fine with 150-600 just notchy with the extra weight of the 600 prime

    Lensmaster rh-2 gimbal head advice/recommendations.

Hi I am looking at a decent gimbal head to hold a 600mm f4 lens. I came across the british made lensmaster gimbal. Does anyone have first hand experience of these with a large heavy lens please.

What sort of distances will a long lens achieve ( bird photography)

The easy answer is at some point you always want more reach. I use a 150-600 sigma most of the time for wildlife which gives a good reach but more versatility than a prime when walking about. The other option is a used super zoom bridge camera if it is just identify you want.
