    Canon EOS 6D Mk2 Owner's Thread

Panamoz has dropped £80 from when I bought, but oh well that’s life. Bloody good camera though, definitely a great upgrade from the original 6D. Plus the 24-105mm MKII is a stellar general purpose lens.

    Canon EOS 6D Mk2 Owner's Thread

I just bought one from Panamoz, £1780 with the new 24-105mm F4/L II - how can I complain at that price I see it as a great camera, and a good upgrade from a 6D. The screen has me sold, and the Dual Pixel AF as I’ll be doing a little video work this year. No review can put me off, I’m happy...

Should I buy a new lens from eBay or a retail supplier?

I'm a big fan of grey imports, you get the same gear for a good bit less than a UK spec. As said, stick to reputable sellers and you will be fine

White box fuji 18-55 versus black box? :)

You'd be paying simply for a box. Both boxes house the exact same lens. My advice is don't waste your money if a white box is available :)

    Bridge Cameras

I wouldn't go bridge for any low light situation. Get a used DSLR with a decent focus system

    Beginner lens for beginner

In short its excellent for wildlife. Using it on your 7D will crop the focal length to the equivalent of 640mm, that makes it excellent for small wildlife. It will focus very fast thanks to its USM motor and your 7D's excellent AF system. As Stewart said, the limiting factors are that it is a...

    Beginner lens for beginner

Hi Geoff! If you are after my 400mm, I'll give you some advice as to whether or not its suitable. A 400mm lens is quite 'zoomed in', it magnifies like low powered binoculars. It's not a versatile lens, by which I mean you cant really go on a holiday and shoot everything with it, just...
