Personally I think you did a cracking on most of them to be honest, considering you weren't the main photographer. The 2nd one (the first colour one) has a bit of a 70's hue about the colour but otherwise, I'd be happy myself with those pics. :-)
Maybe I have lived in a hole a little then haha
I know this sort of stuff has been done before but it's the sheer ease at which it does it and takes in to account the direction of light already in a still picture, that's the bit that blew me away.
Maybe I am easily impressed :-)
I can see a future where you won't need a camera.
This, for me, is a vision of a future I didn't think I would see for a long time.

Hi Stacey,
Both great ideas but #1 is too blown out on the light. Shame cus Ilike it otherwise.
I think #2 is a cracking picture but just lacks a little sharpness for me. I personally would raise the contrast slightly on the models face too, just to bring the harshness of the highlights down on...
Very true. I am not a fan of when photographs only get the wow factor because they have been manipulated to hell. It isn't the photograph you took anymore.
In your case above, it wasn't meant to be a simple photograph, so the art effect is expected. Still like it anyway. Shows pretty good...
For me, this isn't photography. It's art. I know there's a thin line between the two sometimes but this is just plain art to me not photography.
Saying that, I also appreciate art. I love it. Great colours and all round very impressive :-)
For a first attempt I am really impressed to be honest. I recently did a wedding for my brother in law and I managed to pull it off. Not as good as I would have liked (me being picky) but the B&G were over the moon.
The only things I can see that need thinking about are what else is going on in...
#1 is ok but not a photo that does much for me.
#2 is a good shot but the focal point seems to be on the leaf and not the butterfly.
#3 Love this shot. All the droplets all over and the green against the yellow make for a beautiful photo, IMHO.
:-)
Ricardo, can you stop being so good please? Really....it's demoralising for me LOL
Seriously, love it. Great reflection and lovely colours.
I even reckon if you crop just above the non water part at the bottom, it will be even better :-)
Not a huge fan of the shot as a whole Nick (Front of the car, phone box etc) but it personifies poundland in one picture absolutely spot on. Even down to the motorised buggy outside LOL
Not your biggest fan of ballet Tyron but I think these are spectacular shots.
I do have to ask how you managed to keep the centre in focus while the rest blurs though. I am not convinced they are one shot each but hey happy to be proven wrong.
Surely you must have been using a flash to achieve...
Two extremes for me George. Tyson is a gorgeous picture but it's a shame that the bottom right is so blown out.
Teddy and Harry, again great shots, are the other end, too dark for me. You need to up the exposure or brightness to bring more detail out.
Other than that I love the shots especially...
Just my opinion but I would rotate the picture so your wifes shoulder is running horizontal along the bottom of the photo, so the baby is effectively lying down flat. Then I would crop the bottom off.
The only thing I can think of with your wifes head is to increase the blur a little.
Up the...
