Thank you I have owned both Canon and Nikon in the past I just find Canon lenses less expensive and the 70-200 f2.8 my favourite lens ever. so ill take a look at the 80D and the Nikon D750 I'm not too worried about FF crop can be a blessing at times.

Thanks Ben, do you shoot FF?, i do and always find a tight crop too much for Bird photography hence wanting to try the extender. have to agree the 70-300 is a great lens.

Thanks Pete, i think you are right with the ferry but i still like the wide shot of the cottage with the M5 rolling around behind it as much as the crop

Nobody tried an extender on their 70-300 L IS?

Maybe the full image is better than a crop, i just felt the reflection became lost.

Exmouth beach being hit by storms. murky dull weather with lots of moisture in the air and on lens filter so they are what they are, captures not composed masterpieces

Another which shows movement but i did not include as it lacks the reflection.
