    White Buzzard

Not the best as a bit hurried and quite a bit away.

Thanks Sara, know what you mean, tried to brighten but just seems to put a mist over it, and know I don't use ext. tubes. I did have them when had 100mm macro lens but sold them on to get some more cash.

    Fields of Kent revisited........

Like this a lot, can see the tranquility in this shot, Yorkshire Fog I think grass is called and I always seem to get it very purplish(correct me if I'm wrong with Id) was on holiday in Kent a number of years back and really loved the area, around Rochester and inland, the orchards very...

    Dragonfly, settled on scrub willow

[ Used to have Macro 100m lens but sold it and got Canon EF 300mm, not sure how i would take to it for macro but has the advantage as someone said, they don't fly away so quickly, but hand held its a bit of a weight.

    Roe Buck

Nice one Charlie, in a natural setting for this time of year. Haven't been out early but me and Mike have been out through the day and seen one or two along with a couple of foxes but nothing clean yet which is surprising but then again we don't know if older bucks been left alone, time will...

    Fungi ID

Just to add to this, the book also contradicts itself when describing Orange Peel Fungi and adding a note about Scarlet Elfcup saying edible but both non poisonous.

    Fungi ID

Really love the look of this, shows the cup pefectly, I always have problems getting the depth of them, like the jews Ear it always looks flat, so any hints about how you took this be appreciated. Difference of opinion here as it says in the book I have DK Pocket Nature that it is inedible, so...

Attracting garden birds if you have cats....

My take on this, we have quite large number of cats round our area, 14 at one time, no matter how high you put the feeders there will always be the odd kill. The groundfeeders like the blackbird, chaffinch and dunnock are most at risk. Having the feeders in an open area of garden reduces the...

    Eagle Owl

No your right, but beggars can't be choosers and he doesn't stay around if you get near. He has been in area for a while but not able to get any shots, just lucky today, but wouldn't like to lug the tripod and this lens around to long. Thanks for comment
