The Fabulous Fuji X owners thread

Is the eye AF on par with other brands? I moved back to Fuji (XT3) from a Canon R6 and the good eye AF is something I do miss. Don’t get me wrong I know I survived for years without it, but it’s certainly useful to have, and would definitely tempt me towards an XT5.

The Fabulous Fuji X owners thread

Having just moved back to Fuji ( again!) I find the RAW files are definitely part of the appeal. To me, in terms of colour and tone, they are much closer to what I want in an image than many other brands, thereby cutting the time it takes to process them.

Small bag recommendations? For an X-T3 + prime attached.

I did see that but I wasn’t sure if it would be a little large for what I need.

Small bag recommendations? For an X-T3 + prime attached.

I have a backpack which is fine when taking out ‘the full kit’ but I’m on the hunt for a small bag that will just fit an X-T3 with a prime on it. It’ll not need to fit anything else barring maybe a couple of batteries. It’ll be a bit of a ‘chuck it in the car ‘ bag so it needs to have decent...

    Replacing my Nikon DSLR setup

True! But Fuji is by far my favourite out of all the systems I've shot!

    Replacing my Nikon DSLR setup

I’m in a similar situation and I’m in the process of moving from a Canon R6 to a Fuji X-T3. Cost was a factor ( at present I can’t justify how much money I had sitting in kit), but I also found that I really wasn't using the camera as much as I would have been a smaller system simply due to the...

The Fabulous Fuji X owners thread

Well, I’d been away for a couple of years flirting with Nikon and Canon, but once again I’ve found myself back in the Fuji camp. For the past year I had an R6 and some really nice EF lenses, and it was a fantastic camera, but I found myself leaving it at home more often than not simply due to...

Open thread: Abandoned & Decaying Buildings & Ruins

This thread has given me the well needed kick up the behind to store my photo's somewhere other than FaceBook and my hard drive! So I'm going to start uploading them to Flickr in separate albums. I'll post various locations here with 5 of the images and a link to the full album. So to start...

Fuji Servicing Uk - turnaround time?

Thanks folks. I’m returning it to Harrison’s so hopefully they’ll take care of everything! Good to know Fuji are decent because chances are it’ll go to them.

Fuji Servicing Uk - turnaround time?

I’ve just moved back to the wonderful world of Fuji, and purchased a used X-T3 from Harrison Cameras. It looks almost like new and I reckon it’s been sitting unused for ages because sadly the internal battery’s dead and it factory resets every time the battery is removed. I’ve reached out to...

Thanks for the advice folks. Just got 8 of the IKEA ones off Amazon

Are Amazon Basics still the best ‘bang for the buck’ batteries for a flash?

It’s been a while since I’ve had to buy batteries and I know that a few years ago Amazon Basics rechargeables were considered to be the best value battery for flashes. Is this still the case or are there better options out there?

Canon R6 3rd Party Battery not showing level?

Just as a bit of an update - Duracell finally replied and advised the battery must be faulty. It’s being returned and a replacement issued. Hopefully this one won’t have any issues!
