Micro Four Thirds Long Telephoto Options

I have no personal experience, but after reading a few reviews there seems to be a few saying that the OIS works better than IBIS on some combinations. I can't remember the bodies in question offhand though.

    The Time Tombs

Interesting. It almost looks like an aerial shot of rock formations.

Possibly. I'm not massively keen on them tbh, but have used them a few times before with mixed results :)

Micro Four Thirds Long Telephoto Options

Cheers for thr replies. Stuart, I don't mind using old glass at all, I have two Oly film bodies and lenses so it would be worth getting the adapter for those at some point. My main problem re. longer lenses is I only have a G3 (no IBIS). I'm used to shooting without stabilization on my film...

    A walk round Wardsend Cemetery

I've been up there a couple of times, the other time with my OM2n and a roll of Ilford HP5+ which is waiting to be developed :)

Micro Four Thirds Long Telephoto Options

I'm after some kind of long telephoto for wildlife and boats at sea when I'm at the coast. Neither is really my primary area so I don't want to spend a fortune and it will likely be a 'holiday lens' only coming out every so often. I've got Panasonic gear (including the 45 -150 which isn't really...

    A walk round Wardsend Cemetery

It is a pretty odd little place. I know the broken tomb you mean and I've seen a picture of it somewhere recently (although I can't remember where/what site). I don't know if it's actually still there though - the picture was from around the time of the floods in '07.

    A walk round Wardsend Cemetery

Wardsend Cemetery is a disused graveyard in Hillsborough Sheffield with quite a rich history. It is the final resting place of people from the Great Sheffield flood in 1864, Soldiers from both World Wars that were stationed at the nearby Hillsborough Barracks and the site of a grisly mass grave...

Old Park Silver Rolling Mill - Sheffield.

I've not seen that, is it part of that BBC series?

Old Park Silver Rolling Mill - Sheffield.

I always enjoy looking at other people shots of this stuff. I prefer shooting them and exploring more than looking at my own :)

Old Park Silver Rolling Mill - Sheffield.

Old Park Silver Rolling Mill was one of the first Mills to make Sheffield Plate, used by silversmiths to make such things as candlesticks, snuff boxes and coffee pots. The mill was established in the 1760s by Joseph Hancock who was the first to use water power for Sheffield Plate. It was badly...

How do I watch my tablet through my Smart(?) TV?

I had a similar issue and bought a pretty rubbish Smart TV. It has My5 but a bunch of other stuff is missing. I have a smart bluray player, a smart TV and neither has everything I want. The chromecast is a very handy bit of kit though; you can watch or see just about anything on your phone on...
