Exactly right - unless you shoot around 1/160 or above, you are unlikely to get the whole car sharp. Best to focus on getting the front of the car in focus. Back button focusing really helps too in my experience.

It's a great set, but that watermark is really offputting. Unless you are selling your images, I would just post them without the watermark. Did you add some blur in photoshop, as some of the blur paths look a bit odd (might just be me seeing things that are not there!) No6 is the pick for me.

I think that flickr is crying out for someone to take it over and steer it back to a community geared at photography enthusiasts. Part of the issue is that the community over there isn't as active as it used to be. It has so much potential, but in some ways needs to decide what it is. It isn't...

I know it well- the low lighthouse. Good capture- though Harwich is best avoided!

Personally, I love this style. You will always get one or two people moaning it is out of focus or blurred, but that is the whole point. Shooting at 1/8 is a considerable challenge - I suspect you threw a lot away! (Or is that just me?)

Liking the sharpness of that a lot. I love shooting in the rain, because you get the droplets as well as the reflections on the surface.
