    Full frame advice please

Some of the sports I shoot I have been caught out by not having a second body at hand when required. ie podium shots etc. It can be a bit of a pain when having to change lenses back and forth, especially outside in all types of weather. I do understand fully though that there are some people who...

    Full frame advice please

Thanks Chris. I think that the f2.8 is important especially for environmental portraits to help with the backgrounds. Thanks Steven. Its not just an upgrade but also a second body. I did think about getting a second D7200 for a back up body for the sports and buying the 24-700 f2.8

    Full frame advice please

Hi all, I'm thinking a delving more toward the world of portraiture and I am wondering what kit to buy. My current body is a Nikon D7200 and I have a variety of lens including the Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 being my favoured choice as I shoot a lot of sports. So what I am wanting to buy is something...

    Learning Low Key

Thanks Beth. He's certainly a bit cheeky too. Never work with kids or animals they say. Cheers David. I can understand the confusion. I'm going to try and get back in the studio soon with some older (un)willing models (my daughters)!!

    Learning Low Key

It is soft but didn't notice that at first. Fully understand your thoughts about the subject and expressions. Hopefully I'll get back in the studio soon with some older models and try again. Thanks for taking the time to comment.

    Beginner Photographing parkrun

Personally with running events I prefer to capture the runners going forward as this leads to a sense of forward movement. This will capture the front leg bent at the knee and rear foot pushing from them forward keeping the shot dynamic. Regards parkrun (Jonathon is right... No P.... ) There is...

    Learning Low Key

I've been away from shooting a little while and decided to sign up for a course to re-inspire me and found that I may even take a swerve from my usual sports photography. This was shot at the course and my first experience of Low Key. Could I have your thoughts please. (I have broad shoulders...

    And relax...

Thanks Sirch. Good point about the knee. I really never noticed. It made me look at the other one which seems very white in comparison. Extra pairs of eyes always help. Mind for one of my first portraits I'm still quite happy but it shows there is loads to learn. Thanks again. I appreciate the...
