    Bob that looks perfect for getting the filter off, thanks. But I've still got the problem of attaching it in the first place. Ideally a 1" collar with threads on both ends would be perfect and give me the extra grip I need, but does such a thing exist ?

    My first post on here :eek: I've just bought a uv filter, because I've got arthritus in my thumbs I'm finding it really hard to attach and unattach the filter because it's pretty small Does anyone know if there's anything I could add to it, so I've got more grip please ?
