With a small catalogue, my Air M1 with 8Gb is taking 8 seconds from app launch to photo library on display ready to start work. A 90,000 photo catalog on external USB drive takes 11 seconds to launch and display the photo library. I didn't think this was too shabby. This is Lightroom Classic...

You can read all your camera settings if you've got an editing program like Photoshop. Load up a photo and then go to File, File Info in the menu system. If you've got Lightroom you can see each photo info bottom right in the Library module. There's probably other ways in other editing...

Bokeh shouldn't always be about the background, you can have it in the foreground too. This was done with some fairy lights and a prism.
