Thanks for the suggestion, but I don't think that's quite what I'm looking for - not that I do know exactly what I'm after. Loving the colours you've got there though, most of what we've seen so far is all rather drab by comparison. We can't decided if we're still too early or are already too late

We're in the south of France at the moment, and one of the jobs for our time here is to get a selection of good shots of the lavender fields that the area is so well known for. I'm struggling to get anything I'm really happy with so am interested to know what you think of these?
Thanks for the comments, I was playing around with the cropping, I kinda liked it as a frame filling neck shot, but also as one that showed the whole bird.
So, whats the answer to have avoided the blown whites in this?
