Technically it is live-baiting. Hence my caveat. The ones near me are really easily spooked. It's a fairly busy part of public land, but they are very very wary. Even with a 300 and 2x I can't get anyway near close enough. Shame as there are loads......

You can use mealworm as they love them. But that opens up a can of worms (pun intended) on the question of ethics...

This is what I came up with, using the steps I detailed. It's not brilliant, but shows you that you can bring out a lot in an image with minimal (and not really cheating) effort

Hello from Epping Forest / Essex

Hi, New to TP, but been into photography on and off for 20 years now. I used to be mainly about motorsports and landscape, though more recently I've been getting more and more into wildlife and adventure photography. Seems like quite a busy community here, hopefully I can pick up some good...

Critique Lotus Trackday, First Attempt at Panning

Hi, Nice first effort. For me I would prefer to see a bit more space in front of the cars. Give them some room to 'move' into. That being said, it is just my preference, others may have totally different opinions.

    Badger

Great thread Fracster. Love what you are doing for the badgers. I've just found out about an active sett near me. Unfortunately its on the edge of a cornfield, which will make imaging a task, but it should give me a good insight into their path network. This will be very useful when the crops...
