$295 for the separation (it was abit higher since it was the F series) and $195 for the CLA, so works about about £320 quid + shipping, though since i got the camera practically for free it was well worth it!:love:
Hi guys, a little update I received my camera back last week from John Van Stelten at Focal Point in the States, just to simply put it he did an amazing job!
The lens is now spotless! He even offered to do a CLA while he was at it to save me the hassle to resend it again to a second repairer...
I manage my images mostly through lightroom. You can organise everything there pretty neatly. Check out this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6OmfMzYjujE
I have both the trackpad and mouse, they're great! Just depends what you're used to really But in the end I just went back to a standard wired mouse and tablet. Gotta hate replacing them batteries
ugh... i'm getting 70mb per file for RAW TIFF on 35mm films at 2k dpi on my v500 so sounds about right i guess? but yeah for non serious shoots I think jpeg should suffice otherwise 70mb-100mb per file is abit excessive for facebook/forums :D
though anyone wanna share their vuescan...
