Do You Own A Nikon D810?

I have acquired a second-hand Nikon D810 (body only) and have a question regarding what you get from New. I am trying to get Nikon Capture Utility to work so I can use the D810 as a webcam for Zoom but I suspect the cable I have is not compatible. Does anyone have the USB cable which is...

Help With Aperture Reading On Nikon

I used to know the answer to this question but I have forgotten. I am testing some old Nikon Lenses on my Nikon D3 and some of the older lenses are showing strange Values in the Aperture readout. In this image, I have a 35mm D lens coupled to an extension tube. What does this strange reading...

Grey Curves For Epson BW Printing

Around 2109, I came across an interesting post in which someone was talking about Gray Curves For Epson ABW Printing which were constructed by Eric Chan who also published a formula he used over on his website. Free VueScan Tip For Better Shadow Detail

VueScan on the whole does a very good job at creating a black and white digital file from a black and white negative but on the odd occasion, I feel that the auto exposure system it uses can and does get it wrong with certain negatives. It can produce a scan that clearly show loss of highlight...

    35mm Bulk Loading Cassettes

Does anyone have a good source for quality bulk loading cassettes. The last lot I bought are shredding fibres from the felt trap like crazy.

Anyone Got Experience With Fomapan 35mm Bulk Loading

Yea I can see how that would scratch the film. The AP ones are really nice compared to this Watson one.

Anyone Got Experience With Fomapan 35mm Bulk Loading

This was on the first 6 frames form a new roll of film. It might have been because it was the first run out of the loader after inserting the new roll. Maybe I scratched it somehow as I was putting it through the slot and then closing the side casing. I have one of these with some HP5 in and it...
