Thanks Ade :) im ok mate, little un is 19 months old now, in fact 20 months in 4 days ! and growing very quickly :)

We have had a green woodpecker visit the garden for the last 3 or 4 years, having one chick that we know of each year. These were taken from the kitchen window or the conservatory window :)

Great to see but I'd agree with Pete and Alan, first pic is at least 3 juvenile (last years) white tailed eagles, 2nd pic is white tailed eagle as well. 3rd may be one of each, last is definitely golden eagle. Wing shape and bill size are main reasons for saying that. Tail gets very complicated...

not bad Karen, looks like you been seeing quite a lot with the Owls and then this chap :) is one of my targets for this year to try and get Hen Harrier shots, ill probably fail again but got to try :)

It sometimes helps to watch the birds for a while, see if they favour certain areas over others, then try to get yourself near to one of those spots and sit down, try to hide your outline if you can. Doesnt have to be camo gear, if you can stay in a car that works just as well ! lol In an ideal...
