    The mouse/rodent in that image previously is great. Truth is with the first pic you posted it's not a very inspiring as it's a little challenging on the eyes.

    I use the UV filters to save my lenses from getting scratched and damaged. I decent Hoya 77mm is about £100

    Make sure the camera is level with the water and use LOTS of lights - lots!!!!

    Water/Droplets

    Nice efforts! Use a flash, and keep the water level with the lens. Get a nice colourful background and light that also. For mine I used a nasal drops bottle and had that dripping with colour dyed water into clear. It worked well. I used black drops with a yellow background.

    Nice pictures. The second is best because it's more pleasing to the eye. Colour temp is very good also. I love light trails!
