    New tripod head suggestions

410 is the alternative I'm considering at the moment. I've just been watching videos about the XPRO and they are quite scathing to be honest. Lots off issues with them. The 400 looked too big for my purposes and didn't have quick release. I had a look at the C1 Cube earlier, I saw the price tag...

    New tripod head suggestions

Hi All Looking to get a new tripod head soon. I currently have a Manfrotto 460MG. Looking to get one a bit more precise with a quick release function and micro adjustments. I do architectural photography professionally so independent 3 axis movement and spirit level is a must (vertical as...

Very nice!! This just made my spine tingle :) I prefer the portrait version too. Great composition.

    The Lowry - Manchester

Lovely shots! The colour in them is lovely, very well balanced editing. The first shot I would suggest changing the frame ratio to 1:2/1:2.5 to remove some of the large areas of sky and water which make it look a bit empty though.

Man and Lights, Steglitz Subway Station, Berlin

I also prefer it without the frame. The low key shot works well as it is to frame the column and lighting. It's a shame the bulb in the front bay isn't lit.

    Lightroom 5 - HDR

+1 for photomatrix. I use it for work and it's great. Takes a bit of getting used to though, have a look at tutorials if you get it.

Why are some lenses flattering for facial pictures

It illustrates what was being discussed in the thread. Maybe read the whole thread rather than just the OP?

Why are some lenses flattering for facial pictures

http://stepheneastwood.com/tutorials/lensdistortion/IMAGES/tile1.jpg I think this illustrates it well, I saw a while back and mentally bookmarked for such a discussion :)
