    An homage to Ansel

I do, I think it's just over-sharpening on my part, I have a tendency to do that sometimes! + I agree about the vignette being extreme but this was part of the look I was going for, I wanted something that really punched out when viewed small, judging by the Flickr response I think it worked

    South Gare Sunset

Hadn't thought about crops, was too excited to use my new superwide and get some fun angles! Thanks Steve :$ You are too kind! Everyone is welcome here, and I am by no means near the best. Every time I go I find a new place, angle, quirky hut.. If you've run out of spots to take...

    South Gare Sunset

First sunset out with the new 550d/Tamron 10-24 combo, was unfortunately filterless for this trip so all are only raw processed. 1. Dingy by mcintyrejack, on Flickr 2. Jetti by mcintyrejack, on Flickr 3. Seaweed by mcintyrejack, on Flickr Thanks

HDR of an old Power Plant in Belgium

Great HDR usage, not over the top at all & really well executed. Cracking place, bit close to the edge though aren't you?

    My favourite 12 from 2012

Saw the S13 pop up on Facebook a few times, nice to know a TP'er took it! Cracking job with them all.

I've never had as much fun shooting macro as I have using extension tubes with a manual aperture M42 prime on the front, F2.8 for focus checking, wind her down to F/16 for massive DoF, crystal clear 2.5:1 for about £40!

Thank you very much, my recent Student Loan payment should go towards helping you see more, once I spend it all on glass.

Did I see a Puffin? (bird experts, help!)

Aha! Just seen this and its exactly the right call. I could have sworn their beaks were bright orange but maybe the one I was trained on had eaten a Satsuma.
