I do, I think it's just over-sharpening on my part, I have a tendency to do that sometimes!
+ I agree about the vignette being extreme but this was part of the look I was going for, I wanted something that really punched out when viewed small, judging by the Flickr response I think it worked
Hadn't thought about crops, was too excited to use my new superwide and get some fun angles!

I've never had as much fun shooting macro as I have using extension tubes with a manual aperture M42 prime on the front, F2.8 for focus checking, wind her down to F/16 for massive DoF, crystal clear 2.5:1 for about £40!
Aha! Just seen this and its exactly the right call. I could have sworn their beaks were bright orange but maybe the one I was trained on had eaten a Satsuma.
