Haha I'm the same, considering which direction to try. Landscape or Macro! (10-22 canon or 100mm Macro) love student loan day.

I've never had as much fun shooting macro as I have using extension tubes with a manual aperture M42 prime on the front, F2.8 for focus checking, wind her down to F/16 for massive DoF, crystal clear 2.5:1 for about £40!
