I was watching YouTube tutorials to play around and expand photoshop experience. I came across tutorials on adding 'natrual sunlight' to portraits and gave it ago and aimed for a similar effect.
Completely understandable what your saying, in this image the sun had gone behind a cloud giving a dull background, I am just playing around in photoshop to expand my skills and watching YouTube tutorials. I came across ones adding a 'natrual sunlight' effect to portraits but it's just not...

1. Opinions on my first attempt of adding a natrual backlight?
2. I have selected the people and inverted to add the gradient to the back ground, my problem is if you zoom on the girls hair it's not a very clean edge around it, any advice on a way...
I finally felt confident enough with my abilities to get out of my comfort zone.

Wanting advice on pricing/release forms and other legalities, I usually do landscapes and have only done family shoots for actual family.
Thanks
Jess
