I've tried this a few months ago and haven't looked back, it's always what I shoot with, looks pretty good. The only change I do is I remove the grain as I prefer to add it in post if necessary.
I have it. I also have the 23mm f2 and the 35mm f2.
The 50mm f2 is the one I use the least out of the 3, but I think it's just due to what I usually shoot most of the times (it's a bit too tight for street for me). But it's very capable, AF is fast and it's very sharp. It's also tiny so easy...
Definitely some setting you probably have that's messing it up. The same IQ menu in mine shows Fine, Normal, Fine+Raw, Normal+Raw and Raw.
What is your drive dial set to? The dial within the ISO dial. If I set mine to "ADV" the "Raw" disappears from said menu. Make sure your drive dial is set...
Interesting - I'm using these cards (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B09X7FXHVJ/), and have no issues with clarity set to 0. The cards seems the same that you mentioned?
Do you get a screen with "Storing" for a couple of seconds? If so that's more likely you having any setting in "Clarity" other than 0. Clarity processing is very processor heavy so takes a long time to process.
I just use clarity 0 on all my recipes.
I'm not sure what you mean by "filter adaptor", but I only use the step up ring. My filter is 46mm size (to fit straight into my 50mm f/2 lens) and then I have a 43mm-46mm step up ring to use the 46mm sized filter on my 23mm f/2 lens (which has a 43mm filter thread size).
I hope that made...
I have a Urth CPL, their "plus" line for my 23mm f2 and 50mm f2, I find it pretty good (I use a step up ring to use the same filter on both lenses).
I actually just got hold of a 70-300mm lens and needed a larger filter so just ordered a K&F Concept Nano-X series with true colour from amazon...
But if all makes of cameras allow you to sync with your phone, all of them get synced perfectly.
So I'd say, it's the other makes that are behind in this if they don't allow it :D
I'm not 100% sure of this but I believe the X-T5 syncs the time/date with your phone if you connect with the app, which would result in very accurate time/date.
This is what I do. RAW + JPEG to both cards, so I get the backups. Most of the time for daily snapshots the JPEGs are just fine but if there's a banger photo I'll edit the RAW.
On the X-T5 it's on a slightly different place. On the settings, go to the "Set Up" menu, then "Button/Dial Setting", then "Focus Lever Setting". I can set mine so that "Push" resets to center.
Maybe it's the same on the X-S10?
