Thanks for the replies. The reason for the softness is my lens. I dropped it while it was attached to the body, and part of the lens now moves when it shouldn't. I can get good focus when shooting up, but when pointing down or straight, the front of the lens drops slightly with the weight. So I...

A few images from a recent tour around a few areas of London on a bloody cold night. Including the Lloyds building and the Shard from London bridge.

Apart from the oof twig just above the birds head this is nice :clap

I find the first 2 a little flat, but the other 3 are nice, the light is much more flattering

I quite like it. Its a simple composition with a great sense of strong winds. If it was my image though, I would do some work on the sky. Such as a grad filter and maybe some dodging and burning to create a bit more drama.

I like the photo but would also like to see the original image. For me the white balance looks wrong. Too much green, there are 2 sliders in Lightroom near the top of the right panel which will easily sort that.

Love the colours and the slow shutter speed of the 1st one, and the 3rd has lovely light as well as a nice composition. Second image does not have enough going on for me. My eye is just drawn straight to the sun.
