    Lastpass etc

No wonder it is crashing. v6 should be stable on HS, changed quite a bit from either v3-v4 or v4-v5 iirc, possibly even both. If already paid up for 1password then I still think its the one to go for, I feel less inclined to recommend it at the annual subscription rates or the higher price...

    27" 5K iMac 2017

60GB, yes possibly only SATA2, and even if SATA3 not really giving the bus too much to cope with. I'd already got a 1TB Samsung Evo so was being throttled by the SATA2 bus. PCI card was a £60 upgrade, so hasn't made it massively faster, but wasn't tons of money.

    Uses for a dead iMac?

It's the same connector, but that'll only power a 2.5" drive, it won't supply enough juice to power a 3.5" drive in an iMac (unless you've a post 2012 21" as they do use a 2.5" drive)

    27" 5K iMac 2017

I just went with the OWC Accelsior for my existing Samsung Evo 2.5" drive, M2 doesn't add any extra speed, just smaller footprint for laptops, so no point throwing away a perfectly good SSD drive.

    27" 5K iMac 2017

The iMac should be a bit faster than the quad Mac Pro. i7 should wipe the floor with it. SSD bus on the iMac is faster than SATA3 nevermind the Mac Pros relic SATA 2 so you can't even get full performance of the SSD out of it. I've just put a PCI-SATA3 card in mine, must get round to throwing...

    Slight damage to OM10

I had the bottom plate off my OM10 to fix a jammed winder, don't recall removing it being difficult, but as others say unless body has sentimental value, another OM10 can usually be found for peanuts.

    Iphone app reccommendations ?

Second for Co-pilot, had that for years on mine (though generally found the traffic add-on to be a bit crap). Some faves on mine Sun Scout with AR great for sun position forecasting on location. Peak Finder (just got AR update) great for telling which hill you're looking at My Tide Times...

Good service from a photography retailer

Last time I went on WEX used I ended up finding a Canon 50mm F1.8 mk1 for £40. I wasn't even shopping for one but couldn't resist at that price. Bought a used Olympus 14-42mm from Camera Jungle earlier in the year which disgraced itself a week later but they sorted return & refunded without any...

    Uses for a dead iMac?

Thanks ;-) 2012 (no DVD drive) the graphics card is integrated into the logic board so very pricey. 2011 & earlier they're separate so can be replaced but still not cheap. I might have one in stock though possibly. Failing that as Suzy says above I buy them, rip the drives out & securely wipe...

    Beginner Committed a cardinal sin..

Booked a weekend away @ Spurn year before last, carefully planned for the tide times so could walk out at low tide & get the far light house in high tide with the ND3.0 Fortunately wasn't only thing planning on shooting, as once put the camera on the tripod & pulled the ND3.0 out, I discovered...

What equipment have you struggled to get through airport security....

My biggest issue with airport security has been a) them dropping the camera bag off the belt.. b) holding the tray at 30º after they've emptied a bag so you watch an L lens roll to edge of tray and nearly bounce out c) because you've got to take so much off for security ending up with wallet &...

    flashing lights at night

There's going to be at least a couple of minutes at each end where they're prepping to go, take advantage of these to at least try and do a static and some light painting so you've got that in the bag.
