As the title says. I'm going to a rally cross event tomorrow and will be shooting some shots first time at motor sports. just wondering what the best settings for auto focus might be. thanks rich.
Yeah I see what you mean. The weather was overcast. It was really a snap shot rather than a well planed out shot. Still learning the ropes, along with the camera. Moving from crop to full frame I seem to have a lot more depth if field leaving little room for error especially on landscape photos...
Recived my 5d3 last week and upon inspection I noticed a black spec when looking through the viewfinder with no lens attached. I narrowed it down to a foreign body on the focus screen. No knowing much about the focus screen I tried to blow the object off with no luck. So I got a lint free tissue...
Thanks for the reply. I have read the thread you mentioned and found it most interesting. I have a 17-40 f4l with I use most of the time, but I don't have a long tele zoom lens. Would like to be able to cover all bases think I'm swaying towards the xtra reach of 300. Thanks for your input.
Help! Which to choose this is my short list. I haven't got a super telephoto lens and it will be mated to a 60d. Mainly going to be a walk around lens, but would love to take some wildlife and some Motorsport shots. Would it be worth while getting a sigma tele-convertor if I went with the siggy...
Hers just a few shots from york races yesterday. Used my Sigma 50mm 1.4.
Very very happy with this lens it blows my kit lens well away. Crisp and tack sharp. Hope you like these. Its hard to get close to the action.
