My thought is of using it for some macro work and the 45 point af trumps my 50D's 9 so maybe some portrait but not as a main camera

Found an EOS 3 recently in a local charity shop for £50 and was wondering if 1- it's a good film body already got a 50D and 2- is it a decent price

I'm not sure if I'm just getting a little paranoid but I feel that my 50D is shooting underexposed, I'm wondering is there any way of testing this? Also is it recommend that the camera is serviced if there is an issue

Have been looking at getting a Monopod as of late to replace carrying my clunky Tripod everywhere I go, though all I find are with a screw type fitting but a couple are with a ball type socket. So I was wondering can these sorts of models have the socket and head replaced?

I'd recommend the 430ex or any of the similar flash guns with adjustable heads. The flash is stronger and better distributed on all the models but with the tilt you can bounce off of walls and ceilings for a better even light on the subject
