How long does it currently take? The limiter could be the processor. Try and check the cpu and ram usage while you're running the job. Should tell you where the bottle neck is.

I have the same spec and as you say, if it's not for anything heavy, Start with an 8gb stick and add another if it doesn't suit. No point throwing in just for the sake of it.

Quick question. Just wanted to know if this flash has different versions for both Nikon and Canon or if its one version that works on both. I have a Nikon system and i want to lend the flash to a canon user but want to make sure it works first. Appreciate the info.
