    JPEGmini

I'm still finding it hard to see what JPEGmini has to offer. It seems like other packages do the same for free, or without the limitation. Tell us why we should part with our cash to buy your companies program.

Thats a very valid point. So really its a waste of time!

    JPEGmini

In this case there would be no benefit purchasing the program for web content. What about compressing full size images, the equivalent of using number 12 on the quality slider in photoshop? The idea would be saving storage space, but still have perfect size/quality originals. Its the only...

    JPEGmini

I'm looking for comments on what people think of this utility. It uses jpeg compression, keeps the original picture size/quality, and makes the file sizes much smaller. The resulting file is simply a jpeg and can be opened like any other picture. http://www.jpegmini.com/ From what I can see...

    sigma or canon

I'll second that, Canon always, but the Sigma 120-300 is still a very good lens. Just canon are always better than third party and with a price tag

    Bride with her father

Hi Beth, Its a lovely photo of father and daughter! For your next wedding you'll have to keep an eye on that background. Can you pull in some more detail on the dress, or bit of separation from the wall behind? However I'm sure they will be thrilled with the moment you've managed to...

    Advice - sigma 120 - 300 f2.8

Thats a long time to hold such a heavy lens. I can get away with 30 mins but things get shakey after that. (subject to who is holding it!) I'd recommend a monopod.

    Sigma 120-300mm f2.8 - what's it like

I own this lens and love it. As already said its not the best lens when compared to the canon 300mm but it is much cheaper and versatile. The 1.4tc also works well with just a margin of image quality lost. Example: 420mm (1.4tc), F8, iso 1600, 1/1000, canon 50D (672mm - 35mm equivalent)...

"Wanted" Photoshop Tutorial for adding reflections to people shots in a studio

Just my opinion.. most hardware stores sell perspex and it sounds a much easier option to get it right in camera. Even Photoshop CS5 has its limitations ;););)
