I have scanned lots of slides that I have bought from a well known source and, from time to time, published a result but I have never put my name to the resulting image because I thought this was illegal. Am I correct in my supposition?

I have used a contraption which could be fixed to a digital camera for 35mm slide and negative copying. The only problem is that to get a reasonable sized copy it was necessary to use additional lenses which were supplied and were single meniscus. This caused quite a lot of chromatic aberration...

The only criticism I have is the juxtaposition of the bit of tree and the bird's rear end.

I wonder if it would be even more powerful if the right hand side was cropped away to give a square format.
