You can get cheap Westcott Apollo style equivalents from China from £15-£50 depending on size for flashes and about £70-£100 for studio heads.
I was looking at the Paul C Buff website earlier and the Vagabond packs seem to be more reasonably priced than I remember.

I use them with a flash attached to a RF602 and its not a snug fit, but the point is that it stops the flash (and trigger) falling to the floor.
The same set-up seems to slip out of metal cold shoes - before getting a Frio I used to use...

Lets be honest, for the most part you shoot landscapes wide, even though loads are taken on telephotos.
Also someone asking for the cheapest FF camera, isn't the mostly likely candidate for a £1400 lens.

Yeah I get the theory, but I've only ever seen them on old film cameras. Modern Lenses all have the round or "petal" hoods.
Have you got a link to proper fitting one or do you think he has screwed one into the filter thread?

Ebay. Cheaper direct from China, costs more from a UK based seller.
Ideally 1 trigger per flash, but 1 trigger and slave mode works.
If you are using certain modifiers then slave mode may not work too well and its best to have 1 trigger per flash.
In any case, it never hurts to have back-ups.
