The listing does say "or best offer". When an item is won using 'make an offer' the displayed sold item price doesn't match the actual sale price. Just one of the ways that eBay manipulates the marketplace by making it appear as though the values are higher.
Nice start but it looks a little underexposed. I've found that I have to be a little more careful with my ETRSi as the meter isn't that clever when confronted with difficult lighting. The problem is mostly with me as the Bronica with prism and speed grip feels like an oversized 35mm SLR so I'm...
If it is prism separation it will need a repair, I'd give ffordes a ring and let them assess it. Any camera of this age will need a CLA to keep it running smoothly but I would expect for a defect like this to be factored into the initial cost of the camera. M2's are fairly plentiful so if you do...
I have the Sekonic L308s (and an M2 amongst other things) and it's a brilliant little meter. Really accurate, lightweight, tough and pocketable. I used a Weston Master V previously but it hasn't seen any use since I bought the Sekonic.
Well the postman came today and brought this 2 lug (135xxx serial) chrome M5. I've had an M5 itch for a long time and this came along at just about the right price.
Ebay has a special discount code (Plugin15) valid for today only. It's good for 15% off, up to a maximum of £60, for any purchase over £20.
I'd like to say that I'm stronger than that but there might be a little ugly something in the post. I would have better resisted if the seller hadn't also...
The Photo Parlour in Nottingham runs regular darkroom courses. From beginner to more advanced level. Not Yorkshire but not too far away. Especially by train. And they are located in the center of Nottingham, a short walk from the train station.
From the gateway drug of GAS that was a cheap OM lens I've ended up on the hard stuff today. Sat at home with a cough and cold and now I have an OM2n with 50mm f1.4 winging its way to me.
And I've been so good lately [emoji52]
This was pot luck. I tried a few charity shops but they all seemed to have sold out. Us big(ger) city types grace you lot with our presence and you rudely go and buy up all the bargains before we get the chance to... [emoji39]
Nipped up to Wakefield earlier today to see the photography exhibit at the Hepworth. The exhibit wasn't too bad and I came home with a little OM Zuiko 135mm f3.5 for the princely sum of £16.99. It all seems to be nice and clean.
That sounds like a terrible idea. I can't imagine that it would benefit the camera at all.
The film will be fine sat at room temperature until you finish it. Especially if it is still in date. I had a roll of film sat in a camera for years that was only half finished. I shot the rest of the...
