    Neewer CT-16 or Neewer FC-16

I am a little confused as to what the difference is between the Neewer CT-16 and Neewer FC-16. The FC-16 has a higher frequency but apart from that what is the essential difference? Thanks Brian

    Hoya NDX400 filter

I am waiting for a Hoya NDX400 filter to arrive. I am a little concerned by reports of the coating coming off whilst cleaning. Apparently, the instructions that come with it say NOT to use cleaning fluid but the Hoya website say to use fluid. I am a little confused (more than usual). I have some...

Beginner Baader Optical Wonder Cleaning Fluid

I have ordered some of the Baader Optical Wonder Fluid for use on my telescope glass. Does anyone know, or have some experience of using this on camera lenses? I have read some negative reviews on this but I cannot see why it cannot be used. Thanks Brian

    Raynox DCR-150 lens adapter ring

OK, I have ordered one from China. That seems to be the only place to get the ones I want (58 - 43mm and 67 - 43mm). Brian

    Raynox DCR-150 lens adapter ring

I have just receive my Raynox macro lens. I has the usual clip on universal attachment. What I was wondering was, would it be better to get an adapter ring to step down (in my case) to 43mm? Wouldn't it be a better idea to have it more securely mounted? Or, are there other problems with doing...

MK FC100 LED Macro Ring Flash

I have decided to go for the Neewer Macro 48 LED Ring Flash RF550D, it come with three flash diffusers as well and is about the same price as the other one. As it has 48LED's instead of 32 I would think it is a better buy. The point is, if I can get to grips with shooting macro I will, in the...

MK FC100 LED Macro Ring Flash

I have been looking at one of these ring flashes. I cannot afford an expensive one and these seem to be well received. I did read one report that it doesn't work properly with his Nikon D90, the same model as I have. If anyone has used one of these I would be very grateful for some feedback...

    Nikon Macro lens

From what you have all said, I am going to go for the 150 one to start with (used for £35). Can I add close up filters to it as well? Just one more thing, obvious maybe but I will ask anyway. Advertisers are selling these things for different cameras, one seller has multiple adverts for Fiji...

    Nikon Macro lens

Thank you Tim, I will definitely be getting one of those after doing some research. Seen another one (the 250 one) for £50.99 delivered. I don't know whether to go for the 150 or 250. Funnily enough, the 150 costs £5 more. Any advice as to which one to get? Brian

Thanks for that. Will have a look at those. I have just seen one on ebay for £52.99, a bit cheaper that £600 plus for a Nikon Macro lens. Cheers Brian
