I was interested in buying a newly released Sigma 16mm f1.4 e-mount lens, and saw it was $449 in the US, which I thought was fair. The same lens is now for sale in the UK for £449. Thats £130 more expensive! Its cheaper to buy from the US and have it shipped over. Is it just greed?

I would really like a D7000, but they are showing £898 for the D7000 body only at Amazon. Last time they had them in stock a few weeks ago, they were £819! I should have bought one then... With their cashback offer that would have been £739. Doh!

Just joined the forum and hoping to pick up some tips. Took these last summer around Chamonix using a Nikon D80 and a 70 -300 lens. Going back to Chamonix again this June. Cant wait!

Hi... been lurking for a while and picking up tips. Got hold of my brothers Nikon D80 a while back and have been taking pics from the local area and of our Labrador, Poppy. Saving up for a D7000 eventually, but quite happy with the D80 for now. See some pics I took of Poppy here...
