    Mamiya adapter ring

    I'm using a 50 mm C lens on my Mamiya RB67 SD. Supposedly, I need an adapter ring which I've also seen described as a "washer" Do I really need this ring as they are difficult to find? Everything seems to work without it. Sorry if this has been asked before. Mick
