    Premium bonds winnings.

Poor month! £0 for me, £25 for the boss, that’ll just about cover a bottle of wine at dinner here in Sorrento! Oh well onwards and upwards in July.

Amazon driver stopped last week over my driveway, did 3 drops in the street then wandered over the front garden to the post box without trying the bell or door knock, brought the parcel to the door when I opened it before he got to drop package in it, handed me the package which I put inside, “I...

    It got worse...

My wife and I visit Madeira twice a year, we often have a beer (or 2/3 ) at cafe at the cruise ship harbour, she looks at the ships in and counts the lifeboats hanging along the side, she then tells me there isn’t sufficient space on them for the crew never mind the 000,s of passengers, and the...

    Heights

We did that trip from Sorrento up around the Amalfi coast, stupidly we sat in the front row on the rhs, plenty very ‘interesting’ views of the drop off the road, those drivers have confidence by the bucket load.

    Heights

Off to Sorrento in 10 days, our hotel has only 4 floors and away a 100 yards ish from the edge, but it has a great restaurant and a quiet location in Sant'Agnello.

    Heights

I don’t do needles either, getting bloods taken, vaccinations, and definitely no tattoos. When the first two must happen I close my eyes, look the other way and talk aimlessly until it’s done, I have passed out, once.

    Heights

I don’t like heights either, nearly need 3 hands when up a ladder painting/papering in the house, really hated having to work in the shaft when in the coal industry, ok all I call see in the shaft was by the light of my cap lamp but I knew how far apart the two small dots of light that were the...

Why are people buying electric cars?

My neighbours Polestar weighs 2.3 tonne+ and is constantly used, while my Honda is 1.2 tonne and does maybe 4K miles a year, which car will cause most wear n tear to the local roads? Who pays the most RFL and fuel duty.? Will the polestar reach 17 year old and still be on the road, I think I...

    Neighbours, what would you do?

If they have home insurance it may have some third party cover, or take a chain saw to the new fence?

Why are people buying electric cars?

I’d be happy with £500 RFL, that’s about 60% of my current cost, the same vehicle has a further two cheaper tax bands age dependent yet emissions are the same, government changed bands, there may be more in the same boat.
