    an afternoon on the beach

A very nice shot indeed, the composition is great. The missing hand isnt a problem, it doesnt take a wild leap of imagination to assume she has another hand. For me it is lacking in blacks. The exposure is good but id like to see some more black to balance the image. Use your RAW converter to...

    Simple Wedding Shots

@ Janice, i understand your pain i really do. But i have to confess that it was an intentional message, thought it made for an interesting subject, gorgeous landscape in the background, a very urban and emotionally dark foreground with a married couple ignoring each other. Perhaps a sense of...

    Holiday snaps from Majorca

2, 10 and 11 for me, some real nice selective colour going on there! Number 11 has a few haloing issues around the sky/building, but you can change that with highlight smoothing on your HDR app. Nice shots on the whole! great work.

    Simple Wedding Shots

Hey all, I managed to get out with the camera and my cousin with her husband. There were just the 3 of us, a car and lots of nice local vistas. She was a real pain to photograph, hates been in front of the camera PLUS she didn't want the usual wedding shots. So we went for some unusual...

    Morning Glory

Very nice shot, i like the detail in the clouds. Clouds always look photogenic, regardless of the time of day. Good job!

Sail By The Rocks and Moss

OKay chaps, i listened to your cirtiques and have taken on board your suggestions. So i have 2 more examples of the same shot, one pure black and white and one original colour. To me these images do not pop in the way that the first does..... What do you think? One for the scrap book?

Sail By The Rocks and Moss

Recently came back from a visit to North Wales, possibly the most beautiful place in the UK, certainly the most picturesque place i have visited. Im losing my edge with photography and i cant seem to help it. This trip was partly to get me back on track though im still not entirely happy...

Welsh mountains and lakes north and south

Great set of shots, number 1 and 2 are excellent, amazing details brought out there. The rest are fine, perhaps just lacking in punch compared.

    Food - 6 Course Dinner

SChrisMonkey is right, Its Asparagus sliced in half. I also have a feeling that the brown tips are due to a little Balsamic catching them. Looks a little untidy, but i guess this can be corrected in Photoshop. Cheers again chaps. And No Glitch, you haven't put me off. Your critique was very...

Well thank you everyone for the C&C. Honourable mention to Glitch. Again kind words from you all, alas much of my discussion from this point on will be intended for Glitch. Chef's At Work

Hey Tokkelossi, your right with the large ISO and long shutter speed. Twas a dark dark night, and on that dark dark night the kitchen wasn't especially good for shooting in :) I dont think they have quite the same effect in colour, a little flat and washed out in fact. I was going for the...

    Whitby Abbey

A few shots i got in Whitby a while back. The ruins are fascinating, pitty you have to pay to get up close, anyway these i grabbed from over the wall. Not exactly an abbey shot but an interesting image regardless i feel: C&C welcome
