I have just ordered the 80-400mm AF-S VR & have just come over from being a Canon User & i am now interested to see how it fairs up against my old 7d & 400mm 5.6L Prime set-up on the new full frame D3X set-up i will be using, obviously i wont have the same crop factor but hopefully it is as sharp!

Very nice! I actually sell these lenses quite regular myself & although I'm fully aware of there optical quality i have still yet to experiment with one for myself lol.

Thanks for the Critique all, Deleted a couple of the original ones now so sorry for any confusion caused in the comments now lol.. But i have had a bit of a play on the first one again mainly around the eyes but also with a few other bits on photoshop, Does it look any better?

Hi! thanks for taking the time to reply, Yes your right there will be variations in the editing, As i say i haven't really tried this sort of stuff beforehand so was basically experimenting with settings etc..

Decided to attempt to use my 430ex II today & do some portrait shots of her indoors, but only outdoors lol.. These are basically my first attempt at Portrait Photography & would like an honest verdict on them please!
