I've still got an OM2 and an OM2N, brilliant lightweight cameras, the viewfinders are so clear and bright.

I'm pretty sure the meaning is for anyone doing commercial photography, pretty much like the National trust do.

I've tried in the past to replace my old Velbon tripod, which weighs 2.2kg, with something lighter, the last one nearly blew over while filming around the Thames at night, in the end I just replaced 3-way panhead with a self levelling ball head, saved a little weight but still got a sturdy tripod.

I've just come back from Menorca, instead of taking my Nikon gear and a few lenses, filters etc, I took my old Olympus E-420 and the 12-60 f2.8 lens, got a few really nice photos, and everything fitted in my hand luggage with all the other stuff I needed to take, medication and chargers etc...

I've got photos printed out on A4 on my office wall, from a 5mp Kodak, 6mp Nikon D70, 10mp Nikon P7100, 10mp from my Nikon V1 and 12 mp from my D90, and some 8x10 images taken with my Z7ii, and I fail to see any difference, I'm off tomorrow to Menorca, I'm taking my Olympus E-420 10mp and...

I've still got the one I bought my mom when they were new, it was the only type of camera she could use, before that she had a Kodak instamatic, and yes, the photos were pretty terrible.

The rear is the mount for Four Thirds, there's no markings on it at all, there was 5 adapters and non of them had any markings on them, luckily I still have a few Nikon F and Olympus OM mount lenses, there was 2 that was M42, luckily I still have my Yashica TL Electro.

I believe the earlier XG-1's didn't have removable focus screen like the later version, which were removable through the mirror box. Some of the Olympus OM's I've restored had a lot of foam dust and debris, it does take a while,but it can be cleaned up.
