The Nikon 1 system - an open thread

I was lucky not too long ago to find a V1 on a dealers shelf that had been used as a demo model, and then forgotten about, I couldn't really refuse to add it to my Nikon collection.

The Nikon 1 system - an open thread

I had the V1 many years ago as a travel camera, which I sold when I bought the Z50, although the Z50 is a cracking camera, it's certainly not pocketable as the V1, so after deciding I wanted to venture out into the West end over the Christmas period, I managed to find a mint condition V1 and the...

    Phot show, anyone going?

There's a video on YouTube about it, I was kind of interested, until the price was mentioned.

When are people going to realise

All Nikon UK stock comes from Nikon B.V (The Netherlands) as do all the other Nikon dealers in Europe, I purchased my original D70 in Spain, and registered it with Nikon U.K, as long as you have proof of purchase from anywhere in Europe, you're covered for any warranty work.

When are people going to realise

Back in the late 1980's and early 90's the rate was nearly enough $2 to the pound, buying items from the U.S was a no brainer, I've been to B&H in New York a few times, bought a few Nikon accessories that Nikon UK didn't supply.

Just use a debit/credit card on the underground, make sure you use the same card you use to tap in to tap back out, you won't get charged until the next day, sometimes TFL put a 10 pence charge on the card as a test transaction, the prices are rising in March, if you're travelling in zones 1...

    Billingham Hadley Small Pro

I own a few Billingham bags, one being the Hadley small pro, which holds my Nikon Z50, 16-50 and 18-140 lenses, the Z50 is pretty much the same size as the Sony A7C, so should fit perfectly, I've got the Digital, which is just big enough for my Z5 body without any lens attached.

The GAS confessional - all who suffer are welcome. :)

I really thought about this one (not too long though) as I'd just purchased a mint - one, but this one is totally unused, and again the back door isn't sticky, a very rare occurrence.

Has anyone dealt with this company

I purchased a Nikomat FT from them last year, I was impressed with their service, camera was in better condition than they described, I'd have no problem buying from them again.
